- Central Transport, LLC, one of the nation’s most technologically advanced less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers, has announced lane enhancements.
In early August, the Lansing MI terminal becoming an Activity Center next day hub for Michigan markets as well as those in adjacent states. As part of the continued vertical trajectory, Central Transport is eager to announce that North Brunswick, New Jersey has recently adopted the same role. As a next day Hub, North Brunswick has been receiving and processing the next day freight previously handled by the Allentown terminal. Most importantly, this strategic shift is already successfully driving consistent on-time service for overnight points in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, as well as Brooklyn and Long Island NY.
Most recently, in mid-September Williamsport, Pennsylvania began servicing next day lanes between New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, & Rhode Island. This includes all the terminals located in these states.
