Warren, Michigan, May 19, 2017 - Central Transport, LLC, one of the nation’s most technologically advanced less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers, announces further customer centric tariff updates.

Central Transport has committed to reviewing and updating their tariff to be one of the most simple, and customer focused in the industry. Numerous changes have been made thus far, resulting in reduced charges and more simple processes for customers.

The Company is now announcing further changes which will take place effective June 1, 2017. The new changes affect rules relating to Tariffs with Missing Zip Codes. Central Transport will now rate those off of the courtesy default program, giving customers larger savings and less punitive rates in these situations.

The charges for residential delivery and/or pickup have been significantly reduced, as have the rates for detention. Accordingly, the rates for picking up a shipment at a terminal dock (will call) have also been reduced and simplified in structure.

The Company continues to review the document to make additional changes with the best interest of the customer in mind.
