CENTRAL TRANSPORT ANNOUNCES 2013 GENERAL RATE INCREASE

- Central Transport, a less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, announced today its 2013 General Rate Increase (GRI).
Central Transport will implement a rate increase averaging 5.9 percent effective July 15, 2013. The impact may vary depending on specific lanes, length of haul, and shipment characteristics such as weight or class.
The rate increase is applicable to non-contract shipments moving on the CT DYNO ® pricing program and CT PALLET ® pricing program.
Central Transport continues to invest in the capital resources, driver resources and freight technologies critical to its mission of delivering simple, affordable and reliable service to its customers.
